I always loved when my father would take shots of us with his old Russian machine Lubitel and how excited I was when I got to shoot a few pictures!!! Already as a child, I could spend hours with just looking at photos and arranging the family albums.
In my late teens, when I began touring in Europe with the folk dance groups, I got another Russian toy, a Smena 8, I guess it was.
Strange enough, but for 10 years or so, when I was living in 5 countries in Europe and visited some of the most beautiful places, I had no any camera, somehow totally forgot about photography... But in 2006 I got my first camera phone, Sony Ericsson W800i, and no return since then: whenever I step out of the house, I always look at where is a good subject to catch - wouldn't leave without a camera, even if I just go shopping... Right now I am using another Sony Ericsson phone, C901 and a Nikon Coolpix 5900 digital camera, if anyone was interested in the technical details.
